Nail Of The Week

Been slacking on my nail posts this month sorry guys! So this time around I took a picture of my most recent additions to my polish collection! You'll notice my addiction top F21 love and beauty polishes is a little intense. But I find the quality better then almost all drugstore brands and at half the price!? To good to be true!

But first off here are my talons of the week! I crossed over to the dark side and got acrylics. Didn't like my first set. So I went to another salon (Queen Nails) for my next fill and they did an amazing job and fixed the shape to exactly what I wanted! I love them.

Alright now onto my collection!

My favorite most recent purchase is that silver sparkle Misa brand polish. I got it at trade secrets for 7.95$ and was blown away at the results. 2 coats and you'll have a solid glitter nail that catches every light. so pretty on! I think I will be buying some more Misa polishes since I loved it so much!

Least fave recent purchase is that purple Revlon color in the last photo. No matter how thin of layers I do and how long I let it dry between layers it dries with air bubbles and just looks gross. Super bummer because I really loved the color.

Nail Of The Week - Halloween Edition

I saw a bunch of tutorials online for these blood splatter nails and had to try them out!

All you need is a base coat of white or I've seen it done with nude too that looked nice, a red color and a straw.

Quo by Orly - Red Hot
Sally Hansen - White on
Essie - Good To Go

Put a litle puddle of the red polish on a piece of paper, dip straw in it. Place it over nail and blow hard on other ebnd of straw to get the effect.

It gets pretttty  messy so be sure to not do it around nice things. And be prepaired for lots of hand and cuticle clean up of the splatter red that ended up in places you didn't want it.

The aftermath of cleaning up my hands to make them look presentable lol:

Nail Of The Week

I got a super tacky and awesome pair of leggings last week and wanted to do my nails to match them. I am a little obsessed with glitter accent nails at the moment as you might start to be able to tell...

Love & Beauty - Gold / Multi
OPI - Black Onyx
Essie - Good To Go

I LOVED this glitter polish from Love & Beauty. I find a lot of glitter polishes come too watered down and you literally need to do 8 coats to get a solid glitter look. This one was nice and thick what you see on my nails is 2 coats!

Now that being said I have some other glitters from F21 that take the 8 coats lol so it's hit or miss but regardless I am stoked on this one!

Stay tuned next week for a nail polish haul post cause I have been buying loaaaads of polish lately.

Nail Of The Week

I watched a documentary about the history of the Barbie doll over the weekend, and it made me want barbie nails! So this is what happened!

Love & Beauty  - Bubble Gum
Essie - Good To Go
Deborah Lippmann - Some Enchanted Evening

Although It's not very fall at all I am in love with these colors together!

p.s. Sorry for the lack of NOTW posts. I broke 3 of my nails pretty bad and had to cut them all down to stubby messes. I hated how they looked aka didn't want to take photos of them to show on here.

Nail Of The Week

Fall is here! And it is making me feel festive aka my nails are getting darker. I got some cool nail stickers in the mail this week as well that I have been playing around with.

Revlon- Base+Top coat ( not sure if I love this one but I must say my mani didn't chip for 3 days)
F21 Love&Beauty - Mauve/ Purple (but really It's more of a burgundy)

I used the middle nail guides here to get the shape I had going on this week

I loved this look and am fairly obsessed with this color for fall!
