3 Years Worth Of Love

So today me and Nate have been married 3 years! I feel so lucky yo have such a wonderful man in my life to share in my every day adventures and struggles. It's been a great 3 years and I can't wait for what the future holds for us!

Crazy how fast it's all gone by. Seems not that long ago that we shared our first dance together while my dad played our song on the guitar and I cried like a baby cause well I am a crier lol.

Here's a little corny photo I made of us over the years. Engagement and 3 years of marriage!

Since the wedding we have wanted to get our wedding anniversary tattooed on us but we still had yet to do it. So today was the day! Our friend Pierre did them for us and it was the perfect way to spend part of our anniversary! (note that is was not intentional but my nails are he same colors as our wedding colors were lol)

I am a spoiled lady today, Nate got me my favorite perfume and the best little surprise present.

Growing up I LOVED Roseanne Halloween episodes. I saw someone post this online a few weeks back and was super jealous so it was pretty much the best surprise. I got him a few Fred Perry things since he never treats himself to stuff like that. He was a happy camper.

Tonight we're headed to The Whalesbone for a seafood induced food coma! It'[s been a great relaxing day with my favorite man<3

New tattoos!

Got a few little guys in the past while I wanted to share with you guys!

Just been filing in some of the bigger wholes in my sleeve before we go in with the stars and dot filler. We're almost there! Can't wait to be done this arm lol.

I started my back outline about a month ago now we probly have about an hour left of smaller details before I get a picture on here for you guys. Here is the final drawing. You'll notice a few last minute changes added to this one  but I figured you guys would like to see for the most part what my back looks like now. We took out the clip part from her hair rose, dropped her shoulders a bit and left out the clothing and necklaces.

I am completely in love with it! Done by Rob Chambers from The Ink Spot in Ottawa!

Montreal Tattoo Convention!

I love getting out to conventions and spending the weekend with awesome friends. I used to work conventions so it's nice to just head out there now and relax have a drink with everyone, peruse the vendors, get some tattoos done and just have fun!

After the Toronto convention this ones my second favorite to go too. They always have SOOOOO many amazing traditional artists in town for the convention and since it's my favorite style of tattoos I get to walk around like a geek and nerd out on amazing artists doing their thing. And over the years I have been lucky enough to get tattooed by some of my favorite artists at this show.

This year we were just down for the  day and I really just wanted to relax and enjoy seeing and hanging out with some awesome friends that I don't get to see to often.

First off it was so rad to spend the day reliving the good old days with my old boss Damian who runs  www.tattoos.com and the Toronto tattoo convention. Got to see one of my fave photographers from when I used to model Steve Prue. Me and Nate got the chance to shoot with him for his spreads for a few different tattoo magazines covering the convention.

I spent part of my afternoon selling swag for tattoos.com at the New Moon booth which was great cause it meant I got to see the talented Glen and Milena (who is apparently a secret creeper of my blog or so she told me so Hi Milena!) work up close and personal and spent a little time with their ever awesome boss Dan Allaston!

I picked up a few goodies...

Super cute printed tank and some awesome post cards for my pen pals that were printed on wood!

Though we planned on staying in town a bit late and heading to the bar with everyone after the convention the weather was complete garbage that day. With wind that could legit push you down the street so we headed back early like the old folks we are and hit the sack!

Also on a tattoo note, I started my back outline this week with the magical Rob Chambers from The Ink Spot. He is such a talented dude that me and Nate count lucky to call our friend. We got all the basic outlines done but have some blood lines still to put in so once that is all done I will get some pictures of the progress up for you guys!

Cute New Tattoo

Yesterday my friend Rob Chambers did this cute little Oil Lamp tattoo to add onto my sleeve. I love it! (excuse the blood we took it just after we finished I will get a better pic when it's healed)

Afterwards we had a double date night with him and his gf and watched Indiana Jones movies! Needless to say it was a pretty sweet day.

Toronto, Tattoos, Pillows and Puppies

Hey guys!

Me and Nate just got back from Toronto last night we had such a great weekend! We got to see some really great friends and go to the Northern Ink Xposure tattoo convention. I used to work for the convention so it was prety nice to be there and just be able to relax, have time to talk with everyone and actually get tattooed lol.

I got 2 little pieces added to my sleeve by Trevor Taylor from Liberty tattoos in Seattle libertytattooseattle.com

We picked up some really magical prints from some really awesome people there too! One from the lovely Erin Chance (middle print)  www.facebook.com/badtastebetsy one from a lovely lady sharing her booth  ( I am currently having a brain freeze on her  name) and one from Aaron Bell (right print) slavetotheneedle.com/tattoos/aaron-bio.asp

We stayed with my best friend Jen who took us out for an epic brunch our last morning there. This is challah bread french toast stuffed with cheese cake filling and topped with bacon!

My mom watched the pups while we were out of town and snapped some pretty cute shots of the pups. I misssed them so she kept me updated via email with pictures lol.

When my mom came by to drop off the pups today she suprised me with the pillows for our livingroom being done! They are better then I even imagined so excited to have them they make it all come together. donnarobichaud.blogspot.ca/

Well thats it now I am off to make up for a whole weekend with out puppy cuddles! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
